died peacefully during the early hours of 28th June 2010, at home on her 85th birthday. Much loved wife of the late John, loving mother of Jenny, Sally, Chris and the late Peter, greatly loved mum, granny and great-granny 'GG' Ruby bore her final grievous illness extraordinarily bravely over 2 1/2 years. Never a cross word or complaint. Never feeling sorry for herself, her fortitude has been an example to us all. Former Primary School teacher, lover of life, family and friends, she lived life to the full. Ruby will be missed greatly by all who knew her and enormously by her family. The funeral will be held at Cambridge City Crematorium, West Chapel, on Tuesday, July 6th, 2010, at 12.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Cancer Research UK may be left on the day or sent c/o Willingham Funeral service, Berrycroft, Willingham, Cambs. CB24 5JX.
